About Me

Hi, I’m April—an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist based in San Francisco.

I became a therapist because my own experience in therapy changed my life. My therapist supported me through the loss of multiple family members, helped me navigate painful family dynamics, and guided me toward a deeper understanding of who I am and what I want from life.

At the time, I felt lost—disconnected from meaning and unsure of my purpose. Over time, I realized that what I wanted most was to help others through their own life challenges. I remember thinking: if I could support even one person the way my therapist supported me, I would be living a life filled with meaning.

Since becoming a therapist, my life has been full of both meaning and joy. I’m passionate about helping my clients experience less suffering, be gentler with themselves, slow down, and learn to meet each moment—and each feeling—with presence and compassion.

Before entering this field, I spent 13 years in the tech industry as a product manager. I know firsthand how easy it is to get swept up in the cycles of stress, perfectionism, and burnout that come with fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

Today, I work with children, teens, adults, parents, and couples navigating anxiety, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, and the weight of high expectations. Whether you're seeking support for yourself or your relationships, I offer a warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed space where you can explore what’s happening with curiosity, clarity, and care.

My approach is client-centered and grounded in the belief that healing doesn’t come from trying to “fix” ourselves—it comes from learning to listen inward, soften, and return to who we truly are.

When I’m not in session, you can find me in nature, working on art projects, watching reality TV, or savoring quiet moments with the people I love.

If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to begin, you don’t have to face it alone. I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
