Individual Therapy: Finding Connection & Growth

Therapy is a deeply personal experience. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, or questions about identity, I offer a space where you can slow down, reflect, and begin to feel more connected to yourself. Each section below shares a bit about my approach and the types of work I support.

  • Life can sometimes feel like a constant balancing act as you try to manage responsibilities, relationships, and personal growth while quietly holding self-doubt, anxiety, or a sense of disconnection. You may have done everything you were “supposed” to do—reading self-help books, practicing mindfulness, pushing through—yet something still feels off. Maybe you’re questioning your path, comparing yourself to others, or feeling weighed down by expectations.

  • Therapy is a place to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself. It’s a space to quiet the noise of everyday life and listen to what’s happening inside. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that keep you stuck, gently challenge the beliefs that no longer serve you, and create space for a life that feels more grounded, authentic, and fulfilling.

  • Being a first-generation American has a profound impact on how I approach this work. I understand the complexity of identity, the experience of moving between cultures, the weight of expectations, and the impact of intergenerational trauma. These experiences have taught me to hold deep respect for cultural diversity, resilience, and the uniqueness of each person’s story.

  • Many of us live with an inner voice that’s quick to judge or criticize, the part that says we’re not enough or should be doing more. In therapy, we’ll gently explore where this voice comes from and what it’s trying to protect.

Together, we’ll learn how to bring kindness and understanding to these parts so you don’t have to keep suffering under their weight. As you begin to relate to yourself with more compassion, the constant self-criticism can soften, and the suffering it creates can ease, making space for more peace and self-acceptance.

  • Grief can show up in many ways, after the loss of a loved one, during a breakup, a move, an illness, or any unexpected change that shifts the way life once felt. It’s not always just about death; it’s about all the ways we lose what’s familiar and have to find our footing again. You don’t have to face these moments alone.

In our work together, I’ll meet you with compassion, patience, and care as you navigate the pain, confusion, or emptiness that often accompany grief. Together, we’ll make space for what you’re feeling, honor what has been lost, and gently begin to find moments of comfort, understanding, and hope.

  • My approach is flexible and collaborative, always tailored to you. Depending on your needs, our work may include tuning into your body and emotions, exploring different parts of yourself, practicing mindfulness, deepening your personal story, and learning new ways to navigate difficult thoughts or feelings. These tools help calm the nervous system, support emotional healing, and strengthen your connection to yourself.

  • Alongside traditional therapy, I integrate grounding practices, moments of presence, and gentle reminders of joy and curiosity. My work is collaborative and client-centered, with an emphasis on empowerment, awareness, and sustainable change.

  • Moving Forward
Together, we’ll build self-awareness, foster resilience, and support you in making choices that feel aligned with your values and who you are becoming.
